Removing a favorite designation from a contact (VVX 3xx/4xx series)

If you remove a contact's favorite designation, the contact no longer appears in your favorites list or on your display. However, the contact remains in your directory. Removing a contact's favorite designation is done differently if the contact is on your display, versus if the contact is only in your favorites list.

To remove a favorite desgination (if favorite appears on your display):

  1. Press and hold down the button for one of your favorites.

  2. Press the Delete soft key.

  3. When prompted, confirm you want to delete the favorite by pressing the Yes soft key.

To remove a favorite via the favorites list:

  1. Press the up navigation key to find the favorites list.

  2. Use the up and down navigation keys to locate your contact, then press the Info soft key.

  3. Press the Delete soft key.

  4. When prompted, confirm you want to delete the favorite by pressing the Yes soft key.
