Lumen help
CDN Load Balancer can be integrated with your android app to deliver your video content using our CDN Load Balancer Android SDK or plugin. Our SDK can be used to build an application for Android smartphones, tablets, smart TVs (e.g.: Sony Bravia), STBs (e.g.: Amazon Fire TV), or consoles (e.g.: Nvidea Shield), etc.
The CDN Load Balancer SDK is player agnostic. You can use Mesh Delivery with any player but you need to embed and connect several classes together to make it work. The CDN Load Balancer plugin for ExoPlayer is an Android Archive maven artifact that will automatically pull the right version of the SDK, the right version of ExoPlayer, and that will embed all the required classes. By using CDN Load Balancer via the plugin, you can avoid unwanted integration issues since it will automatically bind them all together, thus reducing the boilerplate and guaranting an up-to-date and compatible integration.
Minimum requirements:
Our SDK is built with a support range going from Android 4.4 (API level 19) to Android 10 (API level 29).
Java 8 is required as our SDK is using part of the supported subset fully compatible with all versions of Android.
Explore our documentation to learn more about integrating our SDK or plugin with your app, configuring for optimal performance, and monitoring and troubleshooting.
