Creating a connection between two Oracle Gov locations
You can create a Dynamic Connection to connect two Oracle Gov locations. To create the connection, you'll need Oracle Cloud identifiers (OCIDs) from Oracle. Be sure to have that information handy to type in (or copy/paste).
To create a connection between two Oracle Gov locations:
Click Orders, then click Dynamic Connections - Ethernet.
Control Center lists all your connections with a status and brief summary for each connection.
Click Create Connection.
In the Connection Name field, type a name for the connection you're creating.
In both the From Connection Type and To Connection Type lists, select Oracle (Gov).
Fill in the information for the connections:
Fill in the Oracle Cloud Identifier (OCID) field for the origination location with the OCID provided by Oracle.
Once you fill in the OCID, Control Center retrieves connection information from Oracle and adds the origination location.
Fill in the Oracle Cloud Identifier (OCID) field for the termination location with the OCID provided by Oracle.
Once you fill in the OCID, Control Center retrieves connection information from Oracle and adds the termination location.
In the Billing Method field, select whether you want hourly or monthly billing.
In the Class of Service field, select whether you want Basic, Enhanced, or Dedicated. (Higher classes of service offer higher availability SLAs and allow you to increase traffic prioritization for your EVC.)
In the Bandwidth field, select the bandwidth for the connection.
Control Center shows pricing for the bandwidth you selected.
Review your connection information and then click the I agree with the terms and conditions checkbox. (To enable the checkbox, scroll to the bottom of the terms and conditions.)
