Requesting an update on a cross connect request

If you created a cross connect request, but don't yet have an order number to track the status in Control Center, you can request a status update using Control Center.

To request an update on a cross connect request:

  1. Click Services.

    Control Center shows the Services console. Use the console to access an inventory of your services, check the status of orders, and manage your services.

  1. In the Service and Ordering Tools box, click Cross Connect.

  1. If you have more than one customer number, select the radio button next to the customer number you want to work with (the customer number your cross connect request was created under).
  1. Do one of the following:

    • To use this customer number for this request, click Apply to Current Functionality.

    • To use this customer number for other areas of Control Center, click Apply to Entire Session.

  1. Click Status Update Request.

  1. Review the information Control Center filled in based on the customer number you selected and your contact information in your user profile. Make any changes needed.
  1. If you have a request number for the cross connect request, type it in the Request Number field.
  1. If you have any additional information that would help us process your request, type it in the Additional Comments field.
  1. When you're done, click Submit.

    Control Center submits your request. The Cross Connect team will email you within 24 hours to update you on the status of your request.

Note: If you already received an order number for your cross connect request, you can view the status of the cross connect request with your other in-flight orders.
