Cloning a cluster layout

Use Lumen® Edge Service Manager to clone a cluster layout to use an existing cluster layout configuration without having to recreate it and pair it with different specification (spec) templates. Cluster layouts are used to make instance clusters available for provisioning and to preconfigure attributes for the instance clusters. You can edit the fields during cloning. You can create a cluster layout or delete one you no longer need.

Note: Library tab functionality is only available for AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure cloud providers.

To clone a cluster layout:

  1. Click Library, click Blueprints, then click Cluster Layouts.

    The Edge Service Manager shows the cluster layouts created for your organization.

  1. Click the icon.

    The Edge Service Manager clones the cluster layout. The cloned cluster layout appears in the cluster layout list with the prefix Copy of with the original name unless you changed it during cloning.
