Cloning a spec template

Use the Edge Service Manager to clone a specification (spec) template. Spec templates pair with blueprint layout technology to make specified instances available for provisioning with pre-configured attributes. Clone spec templates to use a spec template for different blueprint layouts. If needed, you can create, edit, or delete spec templates.

Note: Library tab functionality is only available for AWS (Amazon Web Services) and Azure cloud providers.

To clone a spec template:

  1. Click Library, then Templates, then click Spec Templates.

    The Edge Service Manager shows the spec templates created for your organization.

  1. Click the icon, then click Clone.

    The Edge Service Manager clones the spec template.
