Lumen help
Use Lumen® Edge Service Manager to edit the name, check type, interval, maximum severity level, and whether the check affects availability. You can also view a list of checks already created or create a new check. You can view details for each check, mute and unmute a check to determine how it affects open incidents, and delete a check you no longer need.
To edit a check:
Field Name | Description |
NAME | Type a name for the check. |
TYPE | Select a check type and complete the corresponding fields. |
INTERVAL | Type a numerical frequency a check is run. |
MAX SEVERITY | Select the maximum severity level impact for a check fail. |
AFFECTS AVAILABILITY | Select this checkbox if this check impacts overall system availability calculations. |
Field Name | Description |
SSH HOST | Type a name or IP address for the connecting host. |
SSH PORT | Type the port number of the Secure Shell Protocol (SSH) service. |
USERNAME | Type the username if not using SSH key pairs. |
PASSWORD | Type the password if not using SSH key pairs. |
ENABLE SSH TUNNEL | Select this checkbox to allow the check to use SSH Tunneling. |
When you are done, click SAVE CHANGES.
The Edge Service Manager edits the check.
