Use Lumen® Edge Service Manager to gain audit insight into the actions performed on an instance or server. The Activity tab displays a recent activity report (up to a month prior) on any major action performed on an instance or server. For example, you can add a server or provision an instance.
Recent activity displays in order from newest to oldest and can be searched and filtered by type, user, and date range. Use this in conjunction with the History tab for a comprehensive view of the activities happening on your instances and servers.
There are three types of activities that are displayed in the activity reports:
- Backup
- Provisioning
- Alert
To view an activity:
- Click Operations, then click Activity.
The Edge Service Manager shows the activity notifications created for your organization.
- To view the detail page of the instance or server that generated the activity, click the activity name.
Note: Deleted activities display as alerts and do not contain links to their event items. Deleted activity alerts are shown for instances, servers, clouds, groups, and monitoring checks.
