Use the Edge Services portal to create a subnet for an Azure network. A subnet is a range of IP addresses used with your Azure virtual private cloud (VPC). Before you can create a subnet for an Azure network, you must create an Azure network. After you create the subnet, you can view details for the subnet and perform actions such editing or deleting a subnet.
To create a subnet for an Azure network:

Select Azure Subnet. |
SUBNET NAME |
Type a name for the subnet. |
SUBNET CIDR |
Type the Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) number for the subnet as a range of IP addresses that are reserved to prevent Azure from assigning them to your network interfaces. CIDR is a method of assigning IP addresses designed to improve the efficiency of address distribution. |
ACTIVE |
Select this option to activate the subnet. |
DHCP SERVER |
Select this option if the subnet has a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) server assigning IP addresses to hosts. |
ALLOW IP OVERRIDE |
Select this option if the subnet has the same IP address space within its parent network. |
NETWORK POOL |
Type the name of the network pool to assign to the subnet. A network pool contains static IP addresses for the subnet to use if you are not using a DHCP. The autocomplete fields enable you to choose a network pool as you type. |
