Use the Edge Services portal to create an Azure network. Azure networks contain subnets. A subnet is a range of IP addresses used with your Azure virtual private cloud (VPC). After you create the network, you can view details and perform actions such editing or deleting the network and creating, editing, or removing subnets.
To create an Azure network:

Select the group assigned to the network. |
CLOUD |
Select the cloud assigned to the network. |
NAME |
Type a unique name for the network. |
DISPLAY NAME |
Type a unique name for the network as it will be displayed in the Networks list. |
DESCRIPTION |
Type a brief description of the network. |
CIDR |
Type the Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) as a range of IP addresses that are reserved to prevent Azure from assigning them to your network interfaces. CIDR is a method of assigning IP addresses designed to improve the efficiency of address distribution. |
RESOURCE GROUP |
Select the resource group to assign to the network. Resource groups determine what resources are available to a network for creation, selection, and discovery. |
SUBNET NAME |
Type a unique name for the subnet. |
SUBNET CIDR |
Type the subnet CIDR as a range IP addresses that are reserved to prevent Azure from assigning them to your network interfaces. |
ACTIVE |
Select this option to activate the subnet. |
DHCP SERVER |
Select this option if the subnet has a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) server assigning IP addresses to hosts. |
ALLOW IP OVERRIDE |
Select this option if the subnet has the same IP address space within its parent network. |
DOMAIN |
Select the domain to associate with this subnet. |

BYPASS PROXY FOR APPLIANCE URL |
Select this option to bypass any added proxy settings for communication between the Edge Services portal and the applicance URL for the cloud. |
NO PROXY |
Type a list of IP address or servers to exclude from communication through the proxy. |

GUEST CONSOLE JUMP HOST |
Type the DNS hostname or IP address of the jump host. |
GUEST CONSOLE JUMP PORT |
Type the port for Secure Socket Shell (SSH) if you are using a port other than port 22. |
GUEST CONSOLE JUMP USERNAME |
Type the username to authenticate to the jump host. |
GUEST CONSOLE JUMP PASSWORD |
Type the password to authenticate to the jump host. |
GUEST CONSOLE JUMP KEYPAIR |
Type the keypair saved in the Edge Services portal to be used in lieu of, or in addition to, the password to the jump host. |
