Deleting an AWS internet gateway

Use the Edge Services portal to delete an Amazon Web Services (AWS) internet gateway. You can also create and edit AWS internet gateways.

Important: Lumen does not back up AWS internet gateway data. Before deleting an AWS internet gateway, back up data needed for your records.

To delete an AWS internet gateway:

  1. Click Infrastructure, then click Network.

    The Edge Services portal shows the networks created for your organization.

  1. Click Routers.

    The Edge Services portal shows the routers created for your organization.

  1. Click an AWS internet gateway to view more information.

    The Edge Services portal shows details for the AWS internet gateway you selected.

  1. Review the details for the AWS internet gateway to confirm you selected the correct one, then click DELETE.
  1. In the confirmation window, click OK.

    The Edge Services portal securely deletes the AWS internet gateway and removes it from the Routers list.
