Editing a route on an AWS VPC router

The Edge Services portal lists the routes on an Amazon Web Services (AWS) virtual private cloud (VPC) routers created for your organization. You can edit details for the routes such as the name, description, and destination. When you no longer need a route, you can delete it.

To edit a route on an AWS VPC router:

  1. Click Infrastructure, then click Network.

    The Edge Services portal shows the networks created for your organization.

  1. Click Routers.

    The Edge Services portal shows the routers created for your organization.

  1. Click an AWS VPC router to view more information.   
       
    The Edge Services portal shows details for the AWS VPC router you selected.

  1. Click Routing.

    The Edge Services portal shows a list of routes associated with the AWS VPC router you selected.

  1. Click the   icon next to the route to be edited.   
       
    The Edge Services portal shows the Edit Route window.

  1. In the Edit Route window, edit the following fields as needed:
Field Description

NAME

 Type a unique name for the route.

DESCRIPTION

Type a description for the route.

ENABLED

 Select the checkbox to mark the route as active.

DEFAULT ROUTE

 Select this option to mark the route as the default route for the AWS VPC router.

ROUTE TABLE

 Select the route table associated with the route.

NETWORK

 Type the IP address of the network associated with the route.

DESTINATION TYPE

 Select the destination type for the route.

DESTINATION

 Select the destination for the route.
  1. Click SAVE.

    The Edge Services portal saves the changes.
