Use the Edge Services portal to edit a subnet created for an Azure network. Subnets are part of Azure networks created for your organization. You can edit details such as the functionality options and group access to the subnet. You can also view details, and when you no longer need a subnet, you can delete it.
To edit an Azure subnet:
Field | Description |
---|---|
TYPE | This field shows the subnet type. You cannot edit this field. |
SUBNET NAME | This field shows the name of the subnet. You cannot edit this field. |
SUBNET CIDR | This field shows the subnet Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) number. You cannot edit this field. |
ACTIVE |
Select this option to activate the Azure subnet. |
DHCP SERVER |
Select this option if the subnet has a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) server assigning IP addresses to hosts. |
ALLOW IP OVERRIDE |
Select this option if the Azure subnet has the same IP address space within its parent network. |
NETWORK POOL |
Type the name of the network pool to assign to the subnet. A network pool contains static IP addresses for the subnet to use if you are not using a DHCP. The autocomplete fields enable you to choose a network pool as you type. |
