Editing an app monitor

Use the Edge Services portal to edit an app monitor.  You can change any of the parameters, including the name, description, max severity, and add a check you previously created. The Edge Services portal also enables you to view, create, delete and mute app monitors.

To edit an app monitor:

  1. Click Monitoring, then click Apps.

  1. Use the search fields to filter results.

    Edge Services portal displays a list of app monitors.
  1. Click the desired app monitor.

  1. Click EDIT.

  1. In the Edit App window, complete the following fields:
Field Description
NAME Type a name for the app monitor.
DESCRIPTION Type a description (optional).
MAX SEVERITY Select a maximum level for the failed App. Options include Critical, Warning, and Info.
AFFECTS AVAILABILITY Select the checkbox if it affects the availability of calculations in the system.
APP CHECKS Search and add 1 or more checks you previously created. 
  1. Click SAVE CHANGES.

    Edge Services portal saves your editing changes.
