Muting a monitoring incident

Use the Edge Services portal to mute an incident, which removes the incident from availability calculations. The Edge Services portal enables you to view a list of incidents and outages, and create, edit and view details of each incident. In addition, you can view, unmute, close, and reopen monitoring incidents.

To mute a monitoring incident:

  1. Click Monitoring, then click Incidents.

  1. Use the search fields to filter incidents.

    The Edge Services portal displays a list of incidents.
  1. Click an incident name from the list of added incidents.

  1. Click MUTE on the incident details page.
  1. In the confirmation window, click OK.

    The Edge Services portal mutes the incident.
