Use the Lumen® Network Storage portal to remove volumes from nodes once they have been created. You can use the portal to create volumes, view details of volumes, or edit details of volumes.
Note: Ensure that any hosts using iSCSI volumes properly disconnect those volumes on the host before deleting.
To delete a Network Storage volume:
- Sign in to the Network Storage portal.
The Network Storage portal shows the Network Storage nodes for your organization.
- Click Details next to the node which contains the volume to be deleted.
- Click Delete next to the volume to be deleted.
- Click Delete.
The status of the volume changes to Deleting. Depending on the size and activity of the volume, this process could take some time. Check the volume every few minutes until the process completes.
