Before you start making or answering audio and video calls with Business Communicator, set your audio and video device preferences for your microphone and speakers. You’ll want to check your preferred settings each time you sign in to Business Communicator.
Note: If your headset was plugged in before you launched Business Communicator for the first time and you set your audio device preference for a headset, Business Communicator will recognize your device on subsequent sign-ins. If you didn’t have your headset plugged in the first time you signed in, or you didn’t set the headset as your preferred audio device, or you have a new headset, you’ll want to check your settings and set them to your preferences.
To set your audio and video device preferences:
Note: Your headset must be plugged in to be an available option in the device list.
To set your video preferences:
Note: If you’re using an external camera, it must be plugged in to be an available option in the device list.
Note: The larger the video, the more bandwidth it will require. If there is jitter or buffering with a large size, you may need to change it to a smaller size.
