Turning Automatic Callback on and off

If you monitor a colleague’s line, and the line is busy, you can turn the Automatic Callback feature on to call the person back when the line is available.

Turn Automatic Callback on

If you receive a busy signal and want to instruct the system to keep calling the number until the line is free, you need to turn Automatic Callback on.

To turn Automatic Callback on:

  1. Open your browser or Microsoft Outlook with the Enterprise Assistant Toolbar.

  1. Click Services.

    The Services window opens with the toolbar features, displaying the last feature opened.
  1. Under the Outgoing Calls menu, click Automatic Callback.

  1. Select the On radio button.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • If you want to make additional changes, click Apply, then click on the next feature to set.

    • If you're done, click OK.

Turn Automatic Callback off

If you no longer want the system to keep calling a number that is busy until the line is free, you need to turn Automatic Callback off.

To turn Automatic Callback off:

  1. Open your browser or Microsoft Outlook with the Enterprise Assistant Toolbar.

  1. Click Services.

  1. Under the Outgoing Calls menu, click Automatic Callback.

  1. Select the Off radio button.

    • If you want to make additional changes, click Apply, then click on the next feature to set.
