Turning caller ID on and off for incoming internal calls

You can choose whether you want to see the caller ID of colleagues inside your organization when they call you, using the Internal Calling Line ID Delivery feature. By default this feature is turned on.

Turn caller ID on

To see the caller ID for calls inside your organizations, turn this feature on.

To turn Internal Calling Line ID Delivery on:

  1. Open your browser or Microsoft Outlook with the Enterprise Assistant Toolbar.

  1. Click Services.

    The Services window opens with the toolbar features, displaying the last feature opened.
  1. Under the Incoming Calls menu, click Internal Calling Line ID Delivery.

  1. Select the On radio button.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • If you want to make additional changes, click Apply, then click on the next feature to set

    • If you're done, click OK.

Turn caller ID off

If you don't need to know the caller ID from a caller inside your organization, turn the Internal Calling Line ID Delivery feature off. With the feature off, incoming calls will appear as unknown calls.

To turn Internal Calling Line ID Delivery off:

  1. Open your browser or Microsoft Outlook with the Enterprise Assistant Toolbar.

  1. Click Services.

  1. Under the Incoming Calls menu, click Internal Calling Line ID Delivery.

  1. Select the Off radio button.
