Turning Remote Office on and off

You can turn the Remote Office feature on when you need to use an alternate phone, such as your mobile or home phone, as your business phone. When the feature is on, you can make and receive calls as if you’re in the office, and your office number will appear in the caller ID for outbound calls.

Turn Remote Office on

If you need to use your mobile or another phone to make and receive business calls so your office number shows in the caller ID, turn this feature on.

To turn Remote Office on:

  1. Open your browser or Microsoft Outlook with the Enterprise Assistant Toolbar.

  1. Click Services.

    The Services window opens with the toolbar features, displaying the last feature opened.
  1. Under the Call Control menu, click Remote Office.

  1. Select the On radio button.

  1. In the Remote Office Number field, type the phone number you want to set as your remote office phone.
  1. Do one of the following:

    • If you want to make additional changes, click Apply, then click on the next feature to set.

    • If you're done, click OK.

Turn Remote Office off 

If you no longer need to use your mobile or another phone to make and receive business calls so your office number shows in the caller ID show, turn this feature off.

To turn Remote Office off:

  1. Open your browser or Microsoft Outlook with the Enterprise Assistant Toolbar.

  1. Click Services.

    The Services window opens with the toolbar features, displaying the last feature opened.
  1. Under the Call Control menu, click Remote Office.

  1. Select the Off radio button.

  1. Do one of the following:

    • If you want to make additional changes, click Apply, then click on the next feature to set.

    • If you're done, click OK.
