Updating information in a billing request
Using Lumen Connect, you can update information in open billing requests for accounts assigned to your user profile, such as adding notes, attaching files, listing affected invoices, and updating contact information. If you no longer need the request open, you can request that Lumen close it.
To update information in a billing request:
- Using the left menu, click Billing, then click Billing Requests.
Lumen Connect shows open billing requests for your organization, closed billing requests for the past 18 months, and a status for each request: Open, Active, or Closed.
- Click the Request ID for the billing request you want to update. (If you don't see the billing request you want to edit, you can use the Search box to search for it. You can also filter the data using the Status filter or sort records by clicking the column headers.)
- Update the request as needed. You can add notes, attachments, invoice lists, and new contact information.
- When you're done updating the request, click SAVE CHANGES.
Lumen Connect updates the billing request.
