Changing your session‑timeout setting
By default, the timeout setting is set to 15 minutes (after which you're signed out automatically). If you're working in Media portal for long periods of time with occasional periods of inactivity, you can change the timeout setting so you don't need to sign in repeatedly.
To change your session-timeout setting:
- Sign in to Media portal. (Get help resetting your password)
- In the upper-right corner, click the Hello link.
Media portal shows your user profile.
- Click Configure Timeout.
Media portal shows your current timeout setting.
- Select the radio button for the session-timout setting you want to use, then click Save.
Media portal updates your session-timeout setting.
