Lumen is authorized by DISA to deploy and operate the DOD365 Integrated Phone System (DIPS). Under the DIPS contract, Lumen supplies DISA with hybrid-cloud voice and audio-conferencing services via the integrated phone system, which runs over Lumen’s fiber network. Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) removes the need for desk phones and supports remote users as DoD transitions to a hybrid workforce—helping to save costs and aiding collaboration across DoD.
