Adding a toll‑free number to a group call plan
Group call plans let you change the routing plan for multiple toll-free numbers at once for a Lumen® Toll-Free Service. You can add a toll-free number to an existing group call plan using Lumen Connect. After you add the number to the group, any changes you make to the group will automatically apply to that number as well. To add a number to a group, first search for a number in the group and then add the number to the group. If you no longer want a number to be part of a group call plan, you can remove it.
To add a toll-free number to a group call plan:
- In the Services widget on the homepage, select Toll Free from the Find by Product or Service Tool list.
Lumen Connect shows all Toll Free services on the enterprise ID.
- Search for the service you want to work with. When you find the service you want to work with, click the hyperlinked service ID or click the icon (in the Actions column), then click View Details.
Lumen Connect shows details for the toll-free service you selected.
- From the More Actions list, select Group Call Plan.
Lumen Connect lists the toll-free numbers that are part of the group call plan.
- Click Add New 8xx.
- In the 8XX Number box, type the number you want to add to the group call plan.
- Click Next.
Lumen Connect shows the updated list of toll free numbers in the group call plan.
- Click Submit Group Call Plan.
- Click OK.
Lumen Connect shows the group call plan as Enabled on the Global Default (dark gray bar) and lists the name of the group call plan in the Group Call Plan Description field.
