General Chilton has served as a director since 2017. He is chairman of the Security Committee and a member of the Audit Committee. Previously, he was as a director of Level 3 Communications, Inc.
During his 34 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, General Chilton served as Commander, U.S. Strategic Command, overseeing operations for the U.S. Department of Defence nuclear, space and cyberspace operations. Prior to that, he served as commander of Air Force Space Command, where he was responsible for all Air Force space and nuclear ICBM programmes. He was also a NASA astronaut, participating in three space shuttle flights, and served as the deputy programme manager for the International Space Station.
General Chilton served as a director of Orbital ATK Inc. and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. He was also a director of the Aerospace Corporation, a federally funded research and development centre sponsored by the United States Air Force.
