Disconnecting Internet On‑Demand service

Use NaaS Manager to disconnect Lumen® Internet On‑Demand service from Equinix, Digital Realty, or your customer site/building. 


You may need to do this if you added a connection to Equinix or Digital Realty before establishing a data center fabric port and attaching it to your equipment. 


Services disconnect immediately and billing stops once you confirm the disconnect.

Note: Disconnecting service releases IP addresses. To avoid reconfiguring your router, you can change to a different bandwidth instead of disconnecting. 

To disconnect Internet On‑Demand service: 

  1. Click Services.

    Control Center shows the Services console. Use the console to access an inventory of your services, check the status of orders, and manage your services.

  1. In the Service Managers box, click Network-as-a-Service (NaaS).
     

The NaaS Manager Overview lists connection options.

  1. Click the Services tab.

  1. Click the  icon in the Actions column next to the service you want to disconnect, then click Disconnect. 
  1. Confirm the billing notice, then click CONFIRM DISCONNECT.

    Your NaaS service is now disconnected. Contact your data center provider if you need to disconnect the fabric connection.
