Lumen help
You can view details for any alerts created by you or by users in your organization.
You can view a list of alerts you or users within your access group(s) have created to be emailed when certain situations occur with your services.
You can create alerts in Media portal to receive an email when conditions for your services meet or exceed conditions you specify.
You can enable or disable alerts as needed to start/stop receiving emails when certain conditions are met. Enabling and disabling saves deleting and creating alerts.
You can delete Media portal alerts if you no longer need to be notified when the alert conditions are met.
Rather than deleting an alert and creating a new alert, you can edit an alert to change the criteria for receiving emails or to change the email address(es) where Media portal sends the alert.
Using Control Center, you can create a notification setting to be alert someone in your organization to billing, repair ticket, and scheduled maintenance changes for Lumen billing accounts and/or services.
After creating a notification setting for a user in Control Center, you can edit it to change contact information, delivery method, or to activate/disable the setting.
As a Control Center system administrator, you can view a list of notifications set up for your organization: billing, repair tickets, and scheduled maintenance for Lumen services.
If you no longer need a notification setting for alerting a user about Lumen billing, repair ticket, or scheduled maintenance changes, you can delete it from Control Center.
If you no longer need a utilization-based threshold alert with Lumen® Dynamic Capacity®, you can delete it from Control Center. Deleting the utilization-based threshold alert means that Control Center will no longer trigger Dynamic Capacity that the service meets that utilization threshold.
Using Control Center, you can set threshold alerts for services and automatically trigger Lumen Dynamic Capacity when utilization reaches a specific percentage. You can specify 2x or 3x your subscribed bandwidth or specify that Control Center automatically selects the option based on utilization.
Using Control Center, you can edit a utilization-based threshold alert with Lumen Dynamic Capacity. You can change the bandwidth triggered, when the threshold alert triggers Dynamic Capacity, or the email address notified when Dynamic Capacity is triggered.
In Network Visibility, you can create threshold alerts (watches or warnings) to be notified when a Lumen service exceeds a specific metric. The performance metrics you can be alerted for vary based on the service you select.
If you no longer need a threshold alert for a service, you can delete it from the Network Visibility dashboard so you don't get notifications for it anymore.

If you want to change the conditions or delivery for a threshold alert on a Lumen service, you can edit the alert in Network Visibility. For example, you can change the utilization threshold from 50% to 75% or change the email address(es) Control Center sends a threshold alert to.
