Downloading a U3 report

For organizations with an operating company number (OCN), the FCC requires bi‑annual reporting on February 1st and August 1st. Use the U3 reports in Control Center to access the phone number information you need for your bi‑annual NRUF (national resource utilization/forecast) reporting to NANPA (North American Numbering Plan Administration) for Lumen® VoIP Enhanced Local (ELS) and Lumen® Local Inbound services.

To download a U3 report:

  1. Using the left menu, click Monitoring, click Voice Reports, then click U3 Reports.

    Control Center lists the U3 reports available for your voice services. Download and use these reports to help you fill out your bi-annual reporting to NRUF.
  1. To download report, click the link in the Download File column.

    Control Center downloads the report to your computer. The report contains phone number data by NPA/NXX X that are assigned to an end user and are active in Control Center:

    • Total phone numbers
    • Assigned phone numbers
    • Intermediate phone numbers
    • Reserved phone numbers
    • Aging phone numbers
    • Admin phone numbers
  1. Modify the report by updating the phone number quantities in the following columns, then copy it into your NRUF company file:

    • Intermediate
    • Aging
    • Reserved
    • Admin
  1. File the U3 report according to your company’s existing format.
