When you need to process a large volume of orders in a single day, you can use the Switched batch formatter tool to create a batch file to upload your orders to Lumen in a file transmission.
To create a batch files:
- Data can be entered directly into the online tool
- Switched batch ordering template* can be used in a spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel, then uploaded to the web-based Switched batch formatter tool
The Switched batch formatter tool is then used to validate and save the data. The Save action will format the file as needed for processing.
