When you need to process a large volume of orders in a single day, you can use the Switched Batch Formatter Tool to create a batch file to upload your orders to Lumen in a file transmission.
To create a batch files:
- Data can be entered directly into the online tool
- Switched Batch Ordering Template* can be used in a spreadsheet program such as Microsoft Excel, then uploaded to the Web-Based Switched Batch Formatter Tool
The Switched Batch Formatter Tool is then used to validate and save the data. The Save action will format the file as needed for processing.
