You can set a custom name for an enterprise ID in Control Center to help you more easily identify enterprise IDs. For example, you can label an enterprise ID to denote a particular region, department, or holding company for your organization using the Lumen services on the enterprise ID.
When you set up a Control Center user profile (for yourself or for someone else), you need to choose a unique username and a password. Get tips on how to choose a good username and password.
You can view a list of notification settings (billing, repair ticket, and scheduled maintenance for your Lumen services) for your Control Center profile.
The system administrators for your organization can create a new users, delete old users, reset passwords, change permissions, and more... If you don't know who that person is, you can find your administrators in Control Center.
You can keep an eye on your business when out of the office or away from your desk on your mobile device with Control Center. You don't need to download an app and changes automatically sync up with your desktop.
Using Control Center, you can create a notification setting to be alerted to billing, repair ticket, and scheduled maintenance changes for Lumen billing accounts and/or services in your organization.
When you first sign in to Control Center, you'll need to do a few things that you won't need to do on subsequent logins: acknowledging the user agreement, setting a password, and creating security questions with answers.
You can clear your browser cache, cookies, and history if you're having problems with Control Center pages loading.
You can check the status of an order while you're on the go, but don't want to sign in to Control Center. You can enter your billing account number and your order number to get a quick status update on your order.
You can set Control Center to GMT or your local time zone for viewing dates and times in the portal.
You can update your name, password, email address, phone number(s), time zone, mailing address, and security questions by updating your Control Center profile.
If you're having trouble signing in to Control Center, you can double-check your credentials, check your browser, and refresh your static IP address to try and resolve the issue.
You can update your web browser to help improve how quickly pages load, data is shown, and if Control Center is not displaying pages correctly.
If you forget your Control Center username or password, you can retrieve both on your own so you're able to sign in again without needing to contact Lumen.
We recommend you change your Control Center password periodically to help keep your account secure.
To access information about your Lumen services or to manage your services in Control Center, you must first sign in.
You can view a list of the alerts and notifications you've requested within Control Center. You can then add or change your notification settings.
After creating a notification setting in Control Center, you can edit it to change contact information, delivery method, or to activate/disable the setting.
If your Control Center username is assigned to more than one enterprise ID, you can switch from one enterprise to another to work with different Lumen accounts or services without having to sign out and sign in again.
