Removing DDoS Essentials from Internet On‑Demand

You can use Control Center to remove DDoS Essentials from an Internet On‑Demand service. Removing DDoS Essentials removes protection from the service. Adding it back later will include an additional one‑time charge.

You can also update the service's bandwidth. If the connection is no longer needed, you can disconnect Internet On‑Demand. 

To remove DDoS Essentials: 

  1. In the Services widget on the homepage, select Internet On-Demand from Find by Product or Service Tool.
  1. Click the   icon in the Actions column next to the connection you want to update, then click Service Details. 

    Control Center shows the Service Details page. 
  1. Click Manage Service. 

    Control Center shows the Manage Service page. 
  1. Select Remove DDoS Essentials from the action menu. 

    Control Center warns that the service will be unprotected and adding it again will incur a one‑time charge.
  1. Click CONTINUE. 
  1. Review the removal request, confirm the billing message, then click CONFIRM REMOVAL.
