Making a call from your mobile phone using the Anywhere feature (VVX 50x/60x series)
If you're away from your office and need to make a call, but do not want others to know your mobile number, you can make calls using the Anywhere feature. To use this feature you need to set up your Anywhere mobile phone in the VoIP portal.
Note: Anywhere is a feature only available with premium seats. If you don’t find the Anywhere feature in the VoIP portal, you do not have a seat that supports that feature. Contact your organization's administrator to access this feature.
To call using the Anywhere feature:
- Dial the anywhere pilot number (program it in to your phone as a contact for easy access).
- When prompted for the destination digits, dial the number you want to call.
The person you are calling will see the caller ID of your CenturyLink® Hosted VoIP phone, not the caller ID of your mobile phone.
