Moving a call from your desk phone to your mobile phone (VVX 50x/60x series)

If you're on a call at your desk, but need to leave the office before the call is finished, you can move the call from your desk phone to your mobile phone using the Anywhere feature. To do this, you need to set up your Anywhere mobile device in the VoIP portal. You can then also move the call back to your desk phone when you return to the office.

Note: Anywhere is a feature only available with premium seats. If you don't find the Anywhere feature in the VoIP portal, you don't have access to the feature. Contact your organization's administrator to find out if you can get access to this feature.

After the Anywhere feature is set up and you're on a call on your desk phone, taking your call on the go is easy:

  1. With a call in progress on your desk phone, access your mobile phone and dial the anywhere pilot number (save it on your mobile phone as a contact or a speed dial for easy access).
  1. When prompted for the destination digits, dial *11 on your mobile phone.
