Using the IP Solutions OLOF

On the IP Solutions OLOF, you will select from Internet Port, Private Port VPN, and Private Port VPLS, as well as domestic vs international service.

 

IP Solutions OLOF will have an initial option “Complete this order using attached order form” with Yes/No selection.

 

“Complete this order using attached order form” defaults to No.  All Required Fields will be need to be completed to activate the Submit Request button.

 

If Yes is selected on “Complete this order using attached order form”:

 

  • This will reduce the amount of Required Fields
  • You will not need to take the time to populate the order information on the IP Solutions OLOF fields
  • In lieu of entering order information into the IP Solutions OLOF fields, it will be detailed in a Sales Engineer approved manual order form that will be attached to the OLOF
  • The Submit Request button will not activate until attachment is added
  • Contact your sales engineer for more information regarding the approved manual order form.

To use the IP Solutions OLOF:

  1. From the Control Center homepage, click Manage Orders (in the Frequently Visited widget).

  1. Select Add, Change, or Disconnect.
  1. From the Service Type list, select IP Solutions.

You need to complete all required fields before Control Center activates the Submit Request button.

 

In this example of the IP Solutions OLOF, we left Complete this order using attached order form to the default setting of No. After selecting a port type, the OLOF sections have loaded onto the screen with Contains Required Fields and the X icon.

  1. Complete all required fields and validate the service address to activate the Submit Request button.

    When all required fields have been completed and all section accordions have the Contains Required Fields in blue font with checkmark icon (and address validated where applicable), Control Center activates the Submit Request button.
  1. Click Submit Request.

IP OLOF using attached order form

In our example, the Complete this order using attached order form has been changed to Yes.  After selecting a port type, the OLOF sections have loaded onto the screen.  The Contains Required Fields on the sections are no longer shown.

 

To activate the Submit Request button, make selections in the Customer Account Number list, and attach the order form.

  1. Click Submit Request.

    Control Center shows the order number. You will receive automated emails acknowledging that the order was received. A copy of your OLOF is included in the automated emails. The OLOF is also available in Control Center for 90 days; check preliminary order status.
