Viewing a list of alerts
You can view a list of alerts you or users within your access group(s) have created to be emailed when certain situations occur with your services. For example, Media portal can email you if your Caching service receives more than 500 requests/sec within an hour. From the list of alerts, you can view details for an alert, edit or delete an alert, and enable/disable an alert.
Note: If an alert generates more than 20 emails within 24 hours, Media portal automatically disables the alert and emails the user who created the alert.
To view a list of alerts:
- Sign in to Media portal. (Get help resetting your password)
- From the main menu, select Network Tools > Alerts.
Media portal shows the alerts you've set up for your profile (if any). To view alerts for all users in your access group, clear the Show Only My Alerts checkbox.
